This is our second major project working with Alden Landscape Design, and we are utterly delighted with the results. Gail not only does exceptional landscape design work herself, but she coordinates seamlessly with all of her subcontractors, from hardscape to lighting to planting and maintenance. All of the people we have worked with on this project have delivered beautiful work on time and with the utmost most professionalism. We could not recommend Alden Landscape Design more highly.
Gail Alden is a true artist when it comes to landscape design. When we moved to our first home 3 years ago we enlisted Gail to transform our desolate yard. After making a few recommendations for the plants that we must have we handed the keys over to Gail and she designed an outdoor oasis for our family. We hired Gail to design our front yard and driveway entry. We also wanted to add a sports court for our kids. Gail was wonderful, she coordinated with our sports court company so we never had to call them, we just had to ask her and she would get the answer. I knew from the moment i had my initial consult with Gail that she was who I wanted to work with to redesign our back yard. I felt that she truly listened to what we liked, who we were and how we would like to use the space. She is very thorough and a great communicator - her team were also fabulous. We interviewed several landscapers before selecting Gail for our patio and garden project and we are so grateful that we went with Gail. We met with landscapers who also design, but Gail is a designer first, who also acted as our general contractor. At first we thought we couldn't afford to hire a designer, but in the long run it turned out to be a better investment. Our patio is lovely, and the gardens are beautiful.
