I engaged with this service 2 months ago because of my problem drinking. Ive been put aside and contacted occasionally to reschedule my appointment and no help has been received. In the mean time if lost my employment and my marriage and still not received any form of help. There is a duty of care that has been lost in this system and for me personally lost faith
Great service if you show staff the respect they deserve, and they will treat you in kind. Be honest about your use and if you slip up and they will help you through. Majority of the support staff & doctors are caring and want what's best for you and will be help you with your recovery journey. There can be some wait times if you are just starting your recovery as there isn't as many staff as they need, and that's not their fault. Absolutely a joke, after being so frustrated and admitted to hospital I was given a pamphlet about there so called “services” I rang them to only be told go home have a drink to stop the withdrawals as atods have a 6 - 8 week wait list useless for someone battling and reaching out for help
