Adam is an incredible hairdresser and human. I have been with him for 11 years. I will go with him wherever he goes. This salon (Alchemist Melrose) is a beautiful space with awesome, friendly staff.
The Alchemist at Melrose is such a gem! The atmosphere is lovely, welcoming, and stylish—it’s the perfect blend of comfort and professionalism. Everyone here is absolutely amazing—friendly, talented, and always creating a great experience. Special praise for Laura Cisco—she is truly outstanding at what she does. Her skill, attention to detail, and passion for her work set her apart and make her a true highlight of the salon. A beautiful space, an amazing team, and top-quality service all around!

I followed Adam to this location and it was such a welcoming salon. I have had my hair cut by Adam for 5 years now and my curls are so happy. Adam is also an excellent colorist and helped pick out colors for my hair. He is so talented, attentive, and just an overall great person. The salon itself is in such a great area with food options around. The space is filled with greenery, style and feels like walking into a warm apartment.
