Carlos and his team are amazing! We highly recommend him. We have hired him for multiple projects - bathroom renovation, kitchen flooring and backsplash tiles, patio flooring and more to come. We used Alcantara to build a dormer the length of our second floor so we could add a bedroom for our kids. The project took about 6 months. Carlos and Odair were both really great to work with – very friendly and communicative. I am so happy to write a review on my project. Alcantara Contractors took my 125 year old kitchen and pantry and transformed it into the most beautiful and functional space. My kitchen is now open with a wall coming down btw kitchen and dining room. New, larger windows have given the space so much light. The wall coming down exposed a chimney that was expertly repaired with new brick work which looks amazing. The pantry was made into a powder room with laundry and a new window. Deal with this company at your own peril. They don't show up on time, and sometimes not at all. When you call the office they answer and tell you that they will find out when they are coming and call you right back. They don't!! So you are left hanging not knowing if they are coming or not. One day they were supposed to be here at 8:30 in the morning showed up at 2:30 and then told me that on Fridays they usually leave it 3:00 or 3:30.
