the tech called and was at my home in the time he said he check our freezer and told us what it would take to fix he had fixed in a short period of time and a very reasonable cost we would recommend them and if we need any other repairs in the future we will call them

I contacted ALC for a refrigeration issue on January 11 and a service tech was dispatched to my address. The tech informed me that a board had gone bad in my refrigerator and that the replacement would be ~ $550. I paid the tech the money immediately and was told I would be fixed up in 7 to 10 business days. It is now 59 days since I have paid the tech, and still no refrigeration issue has been addressed. The first technician whose name was Adam, came to our house and did some work on the dishwasher. I have to say in all of my 73 years this is one of the worst companies I have ever had to do business with. Called them for a repair on my cooktop on Feb.17th, 2020. They sent someone out that same day. Took my money, they insist that they be paid in full right up front on day one, and said they had to order parts. That took several weeks. Then when the technician tried to install the parts it kept tripping the breaker. Finally he gave up and said the parts were wrong and he...Continue Reading

Please do not use ALC Appliance Repair. They are scam artists as other reviews have pointed out. I hired them to repair my refrigerator ice maker. The technician told me the motor was "dead". He required me to pay him in full ($265.53) to order parts and his labor. He was present no more then 10 minutes. That was back in May 2020. After repeated calls an emails to ALC for a refund, I still have not received it. Furthermore, I hired another refrigerator repair company. Horrible - do not call this business for service. My 77 year old mother called and was directed to Fairhope office. A tech came out and said he had to order a part - it has been a MONTH now and they CHARGED her card the same day they came out and now she’s getting a run around. Another company from Foley, Benson came out and fixed it same day for half the price.
