I cannot thank the incredible cancer hospital enough for the way they have been. My dad has been here for 5 weeks. From making a second bed in the room for my ma yo stay with him, to nurses checking in just to say hello, the male head nurse even stops in the sunshine on the way to scans so dad could enjoy the sunshine, the tea ladies have made sure his coffee is just the way he likes it and nice and hot! The nurses share their personal experiences with anxiety, losing a lung. Anything that helps dad cope with his time here. ... read more

My father's death in this hospital was horrific. So bad we had to walk out of the room. My father was struggling so badly while the nurse sat there and ate her apple pie . As a family we felt like we were part of a murder scene. The nurses were pathetic. He had private health cover but wasn't treated any better than one without.

When things went wrong we were unable to get help from dads oncologist unless we went to emergency at albury base and no one has touched base to even point us in the direction of grief support services. The receptionist who we dealt with down the end where they do chemo always made us feel unwelcome. Ill regret taking my dad there for the rest of my life. ... read more
