Stacey, the incharge nurse tonight, refused to give out the name of the female doctor that I saw tonight who did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for my 9/10 back pain. I was speaking to a JUNIOR doctor who made NO consultation with a senior doctor about the plan for me, because before she did, she was already making clear that she didn’t want to chart strong analgesia for the back pain. This was a terrible experience! As medical professionals, we visited Albury ED for an urgent matter and spent six hours in the waiting room. For over three hours, only two other people occupied the entire ED yet we still haven’t seen a doctor. I can’t trust this facility to provide adequate care in a genuine emergency. I hope someone investigates this to ensure it’s effective for everyone. Being vulnerable and seeking help doesn’t mean we get to waste our time and potentially worsen our condition.

I recently had the privilege of being cared for by Dr Jeremy at Albury Public Hospital accident and emergency, and I truly can’t thank him enough. From the moment he walked in, his calm, reassuring nature and wonderful sense of humour instantly eased my anxiety.
