I went to Albury/ Wodonga hospital on Monday was seen relatively quickly told I needed a endoscopy that day as I had a piece of chicken stuck in my esophagus for 60 hours I could only get thin liquids down I waited all day no endoscopy, nothing to eat or drink they did put a bag of fluids through and took blood, was left in a cubicle bed in the area they triage had to try to sleep in my cloths with all lights on freezing all night couldn’t even get a shower, asked them repeatedly to give me a referral so I could go to the pr... read more

*This doesnt apply at all to nurses and staff as they did amazing work despite an obviously failing system Around 6 hours to be seen in the "fast track" room out of 5 patients. Sent home with referral because, and this is a hospital, didnt have an ultrasound machine available. Sent to general waiting room 2x so that means waiting room 3x, while in pain, for 6 hours. Albury hospital has to be 100 percent awesome. Please God could you please guide all the honoured healthcare staff so they do their fine work so well? I have attended for various imaging over the past 4 months, each time has been positive from start to finish. All staff were professional and courteous. They explained each procedure fully, ensuring I understood and that I was comfortable throughout.
