For a low cost motel for a one night stop over, this was really clean, had very comfortable beds, large family room and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Good: size of room (twin share lower story room 113), comfortable beds, tv, well appointed with appliances & kitchenette. Needs attention: illegal power point close to sink, refrigerator thermostat not working ( runs continually & noisy), bed lamp switch broken/dangerous, toilet roll holder inexplicably below level of seat & hard to access. A reasonably quiet location, although sound travels from floors above. Approx 10 min walk to Coles & main shopping centre. I would have given 4 stars except for maintenance issues.
Easy check-in, room was fine. But I'll tell you the reason for my lower stars. I booked this place thinking I was going to be in a quieter part of town. It's currently 4:20am and I haven't been able to sleep (for at least half an hour), due to random knocking/banging noises. There's the occasional dripping tap and car door slam. I will also mention it doesn't feel particularly secure for parking, compared to other locations I've stayed.
Very good accommodation and staff. Also has a restaurant on site. Restaurant no longer available.
