The medics are dismissive and rude. This behavior increases when they learn their patients have alcohol or drug dependence. I find it unprofessional.

I do not know if you can help me and I do not see any way to message you. On September 14, 2018, I was involved in a car accident during which I sustained 2 compression fractures in my 2nd and 3rd lumbar vertebrae. I want to thank the two EMT's who were so gracious and kind to me. The female EMT even stayed with me a few minutes after we arrived at the hospital. Yes, I know they were doing their jobs, but they were so kind and professional. Please, is there any way I can track them down just to say "thank you"?
AAS was part of my life for almost 20 years. I miss the people and appreciate the patient centered approach. A jewel of EMS in the Southwest.
