I had hip replacement surgery Dec 1st at ASG .I knew nothing about ASG til I entered at 6:50am,. I was out of surgery by 9am, and expertly coached thru recovery til my departure to go home at 3pm. An incredibly efficient facility to say the least. My surgeon, Dr Barry Congdon and his team were attentive, professional and personable throughout. I had my second knee replacement at the Alberta Surgical Group. What a phenomenal place! Dr. Carlo Panaro headed the team that performed my surgery, June 13, 2025, in conjunction with Drs. Gregg and Robson. I cannot say enough about these miracle workers. Had my 1st total knee replacement done Sat Nov 23 . All the staff was amazing , very caring very observant for all my needs . Small world connection’s made .  Dr.Carlos Panaro was my surgeon and Dr.Irwin ? My anesthesiologist came to see me before surgery explained everything rally week and calmed my nerves as I had never had a spinal before . The orderlies that helped during this process were great . I just had my second full knee replacement surgery at ASG. Dr. Guy Lavoie and Dr. Kevin Gregg are the best, very friendly/ funny and above all very competent. The staff ,right from the receptionist ,all the nurses right through to the surgical team make you feel you are  ( and obviously are) in good hands . Replacement surgery can sound very daunting, but the staff bring the any  nervousness down to  comfort level. I had bilateral total knee surgery in the past year at this first class facility, one knee operated on in August and the other in January. My experience on both occasions was phenomenal. All the staff were exceptional, preoperatively, operativeIy and postoperatively. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and caring.
