I've always had trouble with getting blood work done but I just had the best experience at this location. The whole staff was great and the blood work was quick and painless. Massive kudos to the guy who did it! :D
Not busy and minimal wait time
This was one of the worst lab experiences we have had. My wife went to the Alberta Precision Laboratories Gulf Square location for blood work. During the first attempt on her left arm, the blood was not flowing properly. The technician kept moving and redirecting the needle while it was still under her skin, trying to find the vein. I’m mystified at how rude the gentleman I worked with was. Cold and flippant at every turn. I’ll never understand why you’d go into medicine if you don’t actually like people. I’d hate to think how his behaviour rubs off on individuals who are nervous about blood tests. There are other such labs in Calgary. Do yourself a favour.
My experience was seamless. I had blood drawn by Fatemeh with minimal discomfort. The staff were professional and friendly. I will definitely be returning for bloodwork in the future.
