Scheduled at 1:05, went before 1pm and checked in at the young woman in the front desk. Waited for 10mins and noticed my name is still not in the appointment list. Told another front desk why my name is not on the list and after that, that’s when they put it in. Ending, I got my blood work before 130pm, and got mad because I almost got late for another appointment. Please be mindful of people’s time, thats the reason why appointment exists. The appointment which I have to schedule more than a month beforehand.
This lab has twice mislabeled samples that I dropped off. I am beyond disappointed. I was sick FAR longer than I needed to be because they didn’t perform testing on the samples I dropped off. Would not return here under any circumstances. Peoples health is not a joke. There’s no manager or oversight. Do not go here if you’re sick and require testing for treatment.
This location needs to reassess and review their system. The wait is bad for walk-ins, just like other locations, maybe but the unnecessary step added. First you line up, however long, for Walk-ins. They take your lab reqs and told to wait for a text message. When text is received, it says “ APL Windermere is ready to see you now. Proceed inside and check in with staff.” Only to be told to line up again on another lane for “appointments” then the reception take your lab req again and told to wait until called”.
