The addictions intake process is a joke! There needs to be more immediate help, not wait and we'll call you back in a month with a counselor! The system is broken!!
Out of nowhere my therapist asked how i would feel about putting a pin in therapy (after 4 sessions). Naturally i agreed because i dont want to talk to somebody who isnt interested in helping me. Nurse therapists suck! This country needs more active psychologists who have trained years to understand mental illness, instead of nurse therapists that took a 2 hour lecture on any given mental illness.
