As paramedics achieve higher levels of performance, proficiency and care, we gain greater ground together. The College regulates all three levels of paramedicine in Alberta: EMR, PCP and ACP.

This place is a corrupt money grab. I took a break from EMS to work on my mental health, meaning significantly reduced pay, and finally let my license go this October because I can't afford to pay their astronomical renewal fee. I worked in the US for a decade as a paramedic and I never paid more than $100 (if that) to any regulating body (CE’s not included). Additionally, they downgraded me from an ACP to a PCP after I moved back to Canada based on a checklist and referred me to a for-profit company for assessment. They sen... read more
