Absolutely unacceptable experience. We took our 2011 Chevrolet Silverado to Alberni Transmission specifically to get a quote for repairs. Instead, we got a phone call deom Steve telling us the truck was done, they had gone ahead and replaced the transmission without ever giving us a quote, without our consent, and without a single phone call to authorize the work. We were then handed a $5,000 bill for a major repair we NEVER agreed to, on a 14-year-old truck we never would have chosen to invest that kind of money into. When ... read more
