we had to wait 15 minutes past our appointment time before being called back. it was worth the wait though the massage was excellent and the space is cozy and clean. wish they had a sauna thats all that was missing really
I made an appointment online and arrived a few minutes prior to appointment time. Door was locked. No one came to the door. I called several times. I took an uber here and have been standing in the cold. Now I have to pay for transportation back to air bnb. I am more tense and sore from the cold and very disappointed.
Hi Im Roxy , I have been a client of Albany Professional Spa now for the last 5 and half years , before and after Covid. I love the ladies there , they are all sweet and all have unique massage styles. They are a clean establishment. Make sure to let them know exactly how soft or deep you would like your massage at the beginning just like you would any where else and you will be happy. Debated leaving a review since the service was good and I love supporting small businesses - however they pressure you to tip over 30% (25% reportedly not enough) which is awkward and off putting. This seems to be a recurrent issue based on prior reviews yet management clearly hasn’t put a stop to this behavior. Just increase the price and be transparent.
