Cant recommend more highly. The care and and attention I received was top notch from all staff. Only complaint , the food was terrible. A nurse even phoned a couple of times after I was discharged to make sure I was okay. Well done Albany Hospital staff and thanks for caring.

After being transferred by ambulance to Albany hospital, I had to wait 3 hours to receive any pain relief. My pain level being a 10, the nurse only gave me Panadol. I asked for more and they I would have to wait as they’re “busy”. I could then hear the other nurses slandering me in the corridor. I haven’t ever been so disgusted in a hospital ever.

When writing reviews I ask everyone to realise that at times this hospital can be very hectic - don't complain - send a letter to your Parliamentary representative and put the case for more beds, more staff and for heaven's sake a decent carpark. People in Albany deserve this - more than truly. Last procedure I had the quality of service was amazing - you want, we want improvements then get involved at the local level.

Attended this hospital with my now pregnant wife. Was told by a Russian/Eastern euro speaking doctor that she had "missed her period". We had been trying to conceive for 8 months. She's never missed her period or even been two days late. She basically laughed us off as being pregnant and acted like we had wasted her time. The irony, I'm a doctor myself but kept it quiet while I observed her, lack of, clinical history taking. I'm going out of my way now to tell people to avoid this third world establishment. Fine for a cut or scrape, but anything more serious you're better off driving to Perth.
