I’ve been cycling around the world since 2010, and I’ve just completed my classic route from Argentina to Alaska on my bicycle. Along the way, I had the pleasure of meeting them. Thanks for their hospitality. If you ever need to rent a car in this state, there’s only one name I recommend Alaska Car Rental, simply the best in the business.
Extremely accommodating and easy to work with - picked us up from ANC airport in a van and when we returned the car they dropped us off in the car itself so we didn't have to move luggage which was a bonus. Very friendly owners and staff. Highly recommend.

Be careful about reserving a car unless exact dates are known. I reserved a vehicle for 5 days but returned the car after 3 days due to death in family. I received no refund and found nothing in reservation form indicating no refunds for early return. Otherwise, the vehicle and customer service were fine.
We HIGHLY recommend local rental car company Alaskan Car Rental for any trip to Anchorage or surrounding areas. We were staying in Anchorage for a week prior to an Alaskan cruise from Seward (about 2 hours away), and all of the major rental car companies were charging huge up-charges to pick-up in Anchorage and drop-off in Seward.
