I moved my stuff from Alaska to Pennsylvania. It was to take 4 or 5 weeks, but I actually needed a bit longer, so I was glad they will store your things for a short time at no extra charge. Calista Ross was the person helping me. She did the estimates and was very up front about prices and how it all works. Even after I got to PA, she kept in touch to find out when I wanted it delivered. The 2 guys that packed my things were fast and efficient. They came when they were supposed to, and crew worked hard so thank you for that part. HOWEVER they damaged a $1000 desk which was in excellent condition prior to the move. It was left with a broken cabinet and broken drawer. We filed a claim but they denied it saying "it was an old desk." What does that have to do with the fact that it was in great condition before and they damaged it during the move? Alaska Terminals was very kind to us when our remote building project went much longer than expected and we had to store a large, heavy carved teak door at their warehouse, for several years. I’m sure the relieved when we were able to take it.
Crew was very kind and informative. They packed everything with care.
