Worth it but don’t bother eating at Pikes at the end.
When we come to Alaska to visit family, we always take a kayak float down the Chena River. This year's was incredible. Thank you Canoe Alaska.

Did the 4-6 hour one and let me tell you!!! I am worrrre out. Probably not for young kids just because of how long and far the experience is. But it was beautiful and very peaceful
I've had the chance to do both, the short kayak trip and the long trip. The staff are great people and did such a great job both times. I would recommend them to anyone who wanted to do a trip.
