I cannot recommend Alaska Northern Lights' Aurora LightPad Mini enough! I've endured too many winters where SAD set in. It was time to do something different. The technology is amazing the way it works WITH your body to help regulate serotonin and melatonin levels. I started using the light in 2018 and haven't stopped! I can think more clearly and my down days are fewer and farther between. Thank you for brighter days!
I liked the Aurora LightPad MAX, it helped me shift my sleep schedule for a new job. I had no schedule at all and.. well I kinda have one now. Definitely would like it to have a physical switch/push button instead of touch sensor but that's minor
I bought the northstar 10,000 box in October 2025. Sitting in front of it for 30-45 minutes every morning for the past five months has significantly combatted SAD that accompanies the long, dark, wet western Washington winters. My only qualm is the cost. I have clients who live in on disability stipend who would greatly benefit from this but could never afford it.
The Aurora Light pad Mini is very bright, like a beacon in my office! Fast shipping. I think the lamp helps keep the sad at bay.
The light is fantastic - SO bright and helpful for light therapy for seasonal depression. Only downside is, being Canadian, it cost an arm and a leg for shipping and duties. Fab product, do recommend.
