Our family of 5 had a great time with this company. Pickup was on time and texted in advance saying they were on their way. Short bus ride to the site, safety briefing, and hiked through the forest to get to the first location. The beginning is three short ropes course (walk the plank type attractions) and a "baby zip" line to get you started. Frustrating missed excursion. While there was blame to go around including my own, AMG had several opportunities to connect with us & their low effort office staff didn’t seem interested in passing what would have been easily obtainable information along that may have changed the outcome. Squandering the money isn’t the end of the world, but squandering the only day in Skagway is time we can never get back.
Great experience, first time ever rock climbing the guides were very helpful and encouraging you throughout the climb the whole time. I’d recommend this to anyone who’s interested in rock climbing. Whether wanting to try it for the first time or just wanting to do a climb.
We (5 of us) had a 6.5hr jet boat tour excursion planned and paid for in Skagway and these guys forgot to pick us up. We were up at 5am to be ready in time. Standing outside for over an hour waiting in the freezing cold wind. We called multiple times to the number provided and they were closed. This was booked through Alaska Shore Excursions but contracted with Alaska Mountain Guides. This was the only excursion we had planned for our entire cruise and we were looking forward to it.
