The Alaska lounge at SeaTac is top notch. Easy access with no waitlist, unlike the Amex lounge. The food options are definitely quality over quantity. Soup, salad bar and a rotation of hot foods. Absolutely love the barista bar - high quality coffee made to order that would normally cost you $7-8 at Starbucks. Environment is welcoming with excellent design and clean bathrooms. Walked across the entire concourse looking for somewhere to sit. Signs everywhere pointing to "Alaska Lounge". Nothing that mentions that its members only or SIXTY FIVE DOLLARS TO GET IN. What an absolute joke. I then asked for a wheelchair ride back to my gate and she told me that because I had walked there that I could walk back. Needless to say they ended up calling for a wheelchair. You'd think with that $65 entry fee they could afford to put up some additional signage to warn people of their thievery!!
Had lounge passes for Alaska Lounge and were excited to check it out After transferring 2 trains in the airport, we finally made it there just to find out lounge was closing in 2 minutes. We asked if we could take a quick look, the receptionists insisted that I needed to use my lounge pass even for a quick look inside minutes. I was surprised at her attitude.
