We had a strange encounter with the owner! My son and I were interested in three items, with a total price of $110. I asked if he would sell them for $90. He took away the items, asked me what my job was, and said "you probably work hard. I work hard too. You offended me. goodbye!" He could nicely refuse to bargain. I found it a strange behavior for a middleman who probably exploits the natives, buying their artwork cheap to sell it to us tourists with a large margin of profit!!

Must stop shop! If you're traveling Alaska, and wanting Mammoth/Jade/Ivory this is the place to go. If you want made in Alaska, true materials with actual artists, you want to go here. Not marked up. Not imported. Most of all, good people.

I really wanted to visit and spend some money in this shop. It was supposed to open at 10. I walked here from my hotel at 10:15 and have been hanging out waiting since then. It’s 11.10 now and they still haven’t opened. I’m going to leave. I’m very disappointed.
