I wanted to really love this place. I loved the idea of having a natural, unmedicated birth in a cozy room. But my experience didn’t live up to my expectations. I liked most of the midwives. And that’s about the only good thing I can say. I couldn’t get an appointment with them until just past 20 weeks pregnant. They were just too busy and maybe I should’ve taken that as a sign. So the name being posted is from vampire diaries. My name is Khirstie and it was the best birth experience of my life I had 2 unmedicated birth and 1 medicated two of them being in a hospital. I didn't know the level of care I received was even possible until the birth center and the midwives were amazing I highly recommend this birth center if you are having a low risk birth.

My experience at the Birth Center has been nothing short of wonderful so far. I am currently 36 weeks pregnant and have been seeing the midwives here since around 24 weeks when we moved to Fairbanks. Each midwife has been so welcoming, knowledgeable, and open to any question or concern I’ve had. They see birth as a normal physiological process and treat me with the utmost respect.
