One of our best activities while we were in Alaska. We had experienced and brand new kayakers and every person agreed that this was well worth the money. Tanana recreation area is a beautiful and quiet get away. One thing we didn’t realize is that you can actual go to the small island and explore. Highly recommend adding extra time to explore the island. Staff were very nice and helpful as well.
I can not recommend them enough! I have rented boats from them many times at Tanana Lakes and now have went on their Tangle Lakes trip. Everyone, I have interacted with is professional, knowledgeable and just all around great people. We had so much fun doing Tangle Lakes with them, hoping to do a trip with them again in the near future. 100% recommend!
Easy boat rental, they had options and even offered for us to swap kayaks to a different kind half way through if we wanted. Efficient and fun. The water was so calm and still, we saw fish jumping all over!
