Renting a vehicle can generally be a painful or painless item to check off the list while traveling. In our most recent trip to Alaska, I cab very gladly say that 4x4 made the process a painless check in the box. Pickup was quick and easy, pricing was more than fair, communication was a breeze, and the vehicle was top tier (didn’t want to give it back actually lol). Highly recommend!

So happy about my rental! I was hesitant renting from them because of the low number of reviews but the low price helped me make the decision! 1) I rented a car for 9 days and the price was half of the national rental places 2) I waited for the shuttle for less than 2 minutes 3) The car I got was an almost-new Chevy Malibu that drove so well! 4) Drop off was as smooth as pick up 5) You check in online prior to pick up and receive all the information about picking up the car a few hours earlier. The best way I can describe this is by telling the story of our first time in Alaska and we renting from Alaska Autorental. When my wife and I got to the Airbnb we were staying, the owner came out to say hi and asked us what company had we used and he said “ he had never heard of this company but he was happy to see that the car was in great conditions and the tires were the right ones” he said that a lot of time they see people come in with cars from other companies and how poorly maintained they are and mainly not the righ... read more
