This is why I I unfortunately will never use Alaska again….Alaska cancelled my flight home, rebooked me on a next day’s flight, of course without any coverage of hotel. I called in to get a same day rebooking and was treated very profusely and apathetically even though I wasn’t trying to spill my story or get special treatment. This was my first experience with flying with my emotional support animal , which is a rottriller mixed with a pit bull and trained, and i purchased the plane ticket day before flight and the airport kept denying my animal. The supervisor at the ticket counter stepped in stayed by my side and made sure that I did everything needed in order to make my flight. This lady supervisor here she deserves an award for helping someone with their own disability make it home with all my luggage.
We have never had a problem with Alaska airlines before. This time was different. As we are on our way to the airport we noticed that our flight had been delayed by 2 hours. When we got to the airport, we went to the check-in desk to find out if it was actually delayed and why.
