The perfect mix of tourist cheesiness and mildly educational activities! But what really makes it special is the staff - you can tell they’re having fun. We were on Lucky Lou’s first and only full tour, and she was wonderful - as were the many other activity leaders, particularly Wailin’ Jaylen in the gold panning instructions. We just got done with the sled dog and gold panning tour with Chillkoot Chip. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Chip was funny, entertaining and informed. The whole tour company does an excellent job! They are all very friendly and helpful with the gold panning. The atmosphere was very warm! The sled dog presentation was very interesting and of course, the stars of the show are the dogs and getting to hold the puppies. You will not be disappointed with this tour!!
The people working here are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable! We panned for gold and got to keep what we found, they even told us how much our findings are worth.
