The service itself works great. When I first signed up, I didn’t realize that they were charging me $1500 for the equipment on a credit card and then I had a three year contract at $75 a month. My three year contract is up. I called them to get a discount and was offered five dollars off a month. I will never have anything to do with this company again. DO NOT GET ADT. I WAS LITERALLY ROBBED UNDER SUPERVISION OF ADT. I WAS TRANSFERRED 8 DIFFERENT TIMES AND NOBODY WOULD HELP THIS PHONECALL WAS OVER AN HOUR LONG . THEY WILL NOT LET ME CANCEL THE PLAN WITHOUT PAYING OVER $1000. I NOW HAVE 18K GONE AND THEY WANT ME TO ROB ME OF AN ADDITIONAL $1000 TO CANCEL BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HOLD UP ON THEIR END OF THEIR CONTRACT. THE CAMERAS RARELY WORK. I JUST GOT THIS SYSTEM IN APRIL AND HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES.
To whom this may concern: We phoned in to possibly get a camera that we could use to allow us to have a better view at night. On 9-13-2022, we ended up with the Nest products which consists of a camera and a doorbell camera. Thus far we are happy with the new edition. However, we have a Pulse camera in the driveway that is inoperable. This camera which is fairly new was operating fine, and of course it doesn't integrate with what is now in place. Absolute garbage customer service. Long wait times. They just want your money they don't care about supporting you once they've got you.
Spoke to the ADT sales guy to get a free quote and understand their offering and package. The call became really off-putting near the end. I said I needed time to compare and shop around, and that's why I called ahead of time to get an idea and understand the offering. the call was abruptly ended as the salesperson pushed aggressively and seemed irritated and said, "You just wanted to save some bucks.
