Spoke to the ADT sales guy to get a free quote and understand their offering and package. The call became really off-putting near the end. I said I needed time to compare and shop around, and that's why I called ahead of time to get an idea and understand the offering. the call was abruptly ended as the salesperson pushed aggressively and seemed irritated and said, "You just wanted to save some bucks. ADT advertises Google nest which I wanted at the front door like the doorbell cameras. The salesman said he had something better and myself being elderly thought he would give me what I asked for. Instead upon my inspection I did not have a doorbell camera nor a porch camera. The camera was installed on the second floor corner of my home pointing to my neighbors across the street in one direction. They are commercial high powered CCTV cameras used in business and banks. Terrible customer service and policies . You need an alarm to keep these thieves away from you . Never use their services or believe their lying authorized dealers .
BEWARE!! I blame myself for not looking at the Google reviews here before getting into a contract. The reviews are very much true and I saw someone say they are leaches. They spent more than 2 hrs at my house to convince me into signing a contract. The day of installation, a different person spent about 4 hrs chatting up, building confidence in them on a personal level and then making me agree to buy $3000 worth of equipment. This Company 6 years ago was very good then this year Horrible service I was charged Hefty ( 300.00)False alarm charges for Representative sending out police i had no idea of & Then i was charged 150.00 for a service call from ADT to replace a battery in the alarm which in 2 weeks stopped again & alarm stopped working.
