The owner did not disclose all the fees at the time of booking. Owner also said there would be no cancellation period due to it being a week before our arrival date. So I was locked in because he had already charged my credit card. I do not recommend this 'establishment'.
My family and I just returned from a wonderful vacation in Gatlinburg Tn. Great place to visit. We chose Alan s Mountain Rentals for our accommodations. Another big plus. Rented the Carpenter s Cabin. Great mountain view with all the comfort of home. Large hot tub on the deck and plenty of room for grilling. The cabin was all up to date and clean. Very large cabin with plenty of elbow room We will stay with Alan s the next time we visit Gatlinburg. JoAnn Winfrey

I normally do not respond to reviews from my customers but the ones here from DONALD & DEBORAH are just too outrageous, derogatory, exaggerated, and just downright false I had to. The star rating for this review had to be completed before I could post my defense pay no attention to it. Donald Sellers and wife checked in June in,2014. Great place to stay. We are renting Molly s Cabin. A very nice secluded log cabin. Great mountain view, hot tub, full kitchen, washer&dryer, and the kids love the loft bedroom. I think this cabin is our favorite out of all the cabins we have rented in Gatlinburg. Love It. Randall
My name is Sally Edgars. We always stay with Alan's Mountain Rentals when visiting Gatlinburg for the last 15 years. We rented Patti Ann's Place this last week. Great mountain view, secluded. A very comfortable and roomy two bedroom log cabin. As always the cabin was up to date and nice and clean. Previously we rented Lora's, Gordon, Shomo's , Carpenters, and a Brentley one bedroom cabin. Rented the Carpenters Cabin for our Smoky Mountain Vacation week of 06/07/14 - 06/14/14. The pictures I viewed on his website were beautiful. When I arrived there it was a different story. The Cabin is dirty, dusty and run down. The cabin smelled musty/ moldy. Furniture was stained, mattresses were at least 20 years old. The dust on the log wall was hanging off. I am, Donald Sellers ,My family an myself rented THE CARPENTER CABIN from Alan @ Mountain Rentals Inc. for June 7 to June 14,2014. Paid the deposit of $543.14 on April 4th, the balance upon check in on June 7 of $543.14. Could not see the cabin until paid for, except photos from Mr. Alan's Cabin Rental Website.
