My husband booked an appointment with diabetes educator with Amanda Bartlett for 5.30pm and was a no show for the appointment. We called, texted and got no response. We received a confirmation email for the appointment along with the link for the Telehealth appointment. This was deeply disappointing, especially given the appointment cost was for more than double that of other diabetes educators and that we were let down by the previous educator from another provider.
We had a wonderful experience with Alana Healthcare. The team is fantastic, and the service was truly amazing. Dr. Burke was especially awesome—caring, attentive, and professional. Although we didn’t complete our checkups there because our pregnancy turned into a multiple pregnancy and we were advised to go to a specialized multiple pregnancy unit due to the higher risk, we were extremely grateful for the care and guidance we received. Highly recommended!
Made an urgent Telehealth appointment whilst overseas with Dr Burke. For 10.30am. Was called by the office 20 minutes after my appointment, telling me she was running late and they wanted to reschedule. Why? A Telehealth appointment is an appointment. They moved me to midday. At 1.15pm, still hadn’t heard from her. After I had sat in my room, whilst on holidays, for more than 3.5 hours. Everything about my experience today was amazing. The ladies at the front desk were so kind and welcoming. Dr Erin was absolutely incredible, she paid attention to what I was saying and finally I found a gynaecologist that didn’t think I was crazy. I walked out in tears because I finally got answers and the whole experience was exceptional
I am so grateful to Dr Lowes and the Alana Healthcare team for the truly caring and supported experience. Not always where you want to be, and Dr Lowes made the experience a comfortable and easy one.
