I saw Dr. Slepian because I was concerned about a recurring infection in my leg following 2nd degree burns from boiling water while in South America. By the time I saw him I had been on 4 rounds of antibiotics and dealing with this for 2 months. Dr. Slepian looked at my leg for less than 30 seconds and said "that isn't an infection". I explained that my infection had already returned 3 times, and I knew this was the early stage, he dismissed me again while opening the door to leave. Dr. Slepian did my surgery last week. Overall it was a great experience. My surgery went very well and I am so grateful. I was called for check ups three times after the surgery to make sure that I was recovering well. The staff in the office was very nice and the office was clean and organized. I felt very comfortable in the welcoming environment.
Very smooth process, Dr. Slepian did a great job. Went back a couple times for check ups after the fact, everyone was always very cordial and responsive.
Dr Slepian was my surgeon for emergency gallbladder surgery the morning after Easter Sunday. He explained the surgical procedures and everything that was going to go on that morning. He calmed my nerves and left me assured I was in good hands. Surgery went well and I was discharged later that evening. I.have seen him 3times since surgery and all is good. I.have nothing but good things to say about him his staff along with the staff at St Joseph's Hospital in Bethpage.
