I have been seeing Dr. Kanter for the last 3 years and he is an excellent doctor. Spends time with the patient and explains the condition very well. He is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable which gives you confidence to explain your condition fully. I have recommended many of my friends and family members to him.
I was in need of a new PCP and Thank God I found Dr. Kanter. He made me feel so comfortable. He took his time with me, He didn't rush like most Drs. Do. Dr.,Kanter shows concern for his patients. He's Such a wonderful caring Dr. who truly cares, and has compassion. I'm VERY Happy, and thankful with my experience with Dr. Kanter, and so Happy to have him as my PCP ( Primary Care Physician )

Dr. Kanter was such a wonderful and thorough doctor. He really took the time to to get to know me and walk me through different questions I had. For example, I explained I had ADHD and sometimes have trouble falling asleep because my mind can't turn off. He was so understanding and after talking to me about various things to do to help focus me through the day, he also showed me these apps and videos on youtube that help calm your brain down before you fall asleep (guided meditation).

Doctor Alan has a very good tableside manner and I could tell he was listening and wanted to give me the best treatment and options possible. He was knowledgeable on medicines and treatments, even new ones. I highly recommend him.
Took me a long time to find a practice like this one. I've received top-notch care from the office staff to the nurses/medical assistants to Dr. Kanter himself. Easy to get an appointment, they call very promptly...Dr. Kanter has returned calls personally! Feeling of caring and being cared for by the Northwest Community Hospital community. Complete opposite of the experiences I had at another practice. .
