What a Gentleman, I had the misfortune of getting a puncture in the rear tyre of my street triple while on a ride out with mates. He promptly carried out a repair that got me back to Chichester without losing any pressure. Thanks again.

What a superb chap Tom is. We’d broken down on a trip from Taunton to Winchester on our 50 year old Hondas.Tom pretty much gave us a couple of petrol filters and a fuel pipe. Then we went back and he helped us again (including making a bespoke square ring for the petrol tap) and would absolutely not take any money for his troubles. I can’t recommend Alan Lear Motorcycles and its owner Tom any more highly. If there were 6 stars I’d give that.
I cannot recommend this establishment enough. Tom could not have been more helpful. Having travelled from Taunton to Winchester on a 47 year old Honda CD200 which had developed a fuel starvation issue, at the drop of a hat, he offered great advice and help during his lunch hour to enable me to drain my tank, remove the petcock, clean it out and then refuel. The sealing 'O' ring disintegrated on disassembly so he made one instantly, which worked perfectly. I offered money but he refused to take it. Five stars is not enough fo... read more
