Dr Hammond is excellent! He performed a DaVinci robotic colon resection on me in September 2019. The attention to prevention of infection is top notch. The explanation of the procedure was easy to understand and went as described. The recovery was much easier than an “open” surgery (much less pain and faster recovery time overall). Dr. Hammond performed PPH surgery on me in 2015. Prior to my surgery, I was suffering from a lot of pain, discomfort, and minor fluid leakage throughout the day. As a result of the surgery, my quality of life has improved dramatically. I recovered very quickly after the surgery. In fact, I stopped taking the prescribed pain medication after four days. As a patient who underwent PPH surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Hammond.
