Another medical professional that believes my time is less important. Office open 2 days per week and they have a machine call, text and email to ask me to call them to make an appointment. Then put me on hold when I call. Not anymore.
I was referred by pediatrician due to my son constantly having asthma attacks. She thought maybe allergies were inducing some of them, which I thought was a brilliant line of thought. Dr. Gaines isn't the most sociable, but he knows his profession damn it!! He tested the boy for everything, and my son's whole back lit up. Out of 16-20 allergens, I believe 2 didn't react, and now we had a WHY. He answered my questions, told us to come back for any reason and put my heart at rest. Dr. Gaines was rude, condescending, and literally laughed in my face when expressing my concerns for my son. He said he can’t do anything as what I’ve been dealing with doesn’t make sense to him. I felt really defeated trying to explain what has been going on as he doesn’t care to listen. There was just a different way he could have went about saying what he thinks the issue is instead of laughing at me and being rude.
