Alan and his team are simply superb -- talented craftsmen, honest business people, and they are true experts in our beloved Volvos. I drive my 240 wagon everyday -- and everyday I get a smile, a wave, and/or a thumbs up as people admire the beauty of the vehicle that Alan brought into my life. Not everyone can bring joy to people everyday -- but Alan does. Oh, and he's a GREAT storyteller!
Alan and his team are top-notch! I showed up at the end of 2023 with a car that was barely drivable, and they saw the "good bones" and brought my "REDBRIK" back to life. Their process is detailed, collaborative and fair. I'm so grateful for all they did for my awesome wagon!

(The Alan's Auto on Riverside is a great shop, the head mechanic is very knowledgeable and is fair with his pricing and work. Never agree to anything without a complete work order no matter how minor it might be presented as being, including who will work on the vehicle. Have nothing done no matter how desperate you might be without dealing in person and with a work order signed by both parties. Adhere to this procedure. Do not waiver, no matter what. Verify, in writing, which mechanic and "section" of the shop will do the actual work. Ask if Alan does any of the work himself or is just the guy who orchestrates it.
