Never agree to anything without a complete work order no matter how minor it might be presented as being, including who will work on the vehicle. Have nothing done no matter how desperate you might be without dealing in person and with a work order signed by both parties. Adhere to this procedure. Do not waiver, no matter what. Verify, in writing, which mechanic and "section" of the shop will do the actual work. Ask if Alan does any of the work himself or is just the guy who orchestrates it.
