Alamo desk personnel was very good, offered the extra insurance for recovery anywhere ( we were told) at a reasonable cost of around £5 a day, given we were doing some mileage we agreed on the extra insurance. Had a choice of several cars, all looked to be in very good condition, the one we chose only had 18,000 miles and tyres etc looked pretty good, a Nissan Rogue. We had no problems whatsoever. I rent from Alamo all the time simply because they have the ability to check in on line, walk by the counter and then go and choose the car you want. I LOVE this fact, many many times I have been given a car from other companies and not liked it. The fact that I can choose my own car is a MASSIVE plus for me. Great staff too.
Very convenient and a lot of options to choose from.
