The car I rented was a bit old and didn’t feel very clean. I had booked a Nissan Rogue or a similar SUV, but when I went to pick up the car, I was given only two options. I ended up with a Ford Escape, which was okay. However, the service was excellent, and all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Excellent service by the Alamo team, quick check out, flexible vehicle selection, easy check in. The facility requires a bus between the DTW terminals so make sure to allow for additional time for the connection.

Don’t use Alamo!! I got good service at the airport but when I called back about changing the rental by a couple of days I was given the run around spoke to 4 different people, asked to talk to a manager, never connected with one and then was charged a lot more money when I returned the car. I don’t like giving negative reviews but stay away from Alamo!!

Check in was very easy. Check out was very easy. A couple check engine lights were on when I took the vehicle, it didn't create an issue, and a credit was issued on my return without being asked for.
