today i went thinking it would just be another random place and honestly it turned out way better than i expected. i got teh veggie burger and it was perfect, like they actually cared about making it taste good and not just throwing it together... honestly made my whole afternoon sorta chill and happy. i would go back tommorrow if i could because the vibe here just felt good and the people working were super nice for no reason. grateful i stooped by.

Alamo Palace has been my favorite Chinese restaurant for over 30 years. The food has always been consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the staff makes you feel like family every time you walk in. What I love most is that it’s a small family-run business that truly cares about their customers and the local community. This is my 90 year old Mom's place. They remind her that she always loves noodles versus rice. Took my kin to lunch and even when they found out that I was paying, I got out of there under $200. (And they purposely"accidentally" ordered extra dinner entrees and beers.) Lot's of great, authentic dishes. I wanted to eat light and ordered Bok Choy Chicken and it was still a big portion.
