Alamo Palace has been my favorite Chinese restaurant for over 30 years. The food has always been consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the staff makes you feel like family every time you walk in. What I love most is that it’s a small family-run business that truly cares about their customers and the local community. This is my 90 year old Mom's place. They remind her that she always loves noodles versus rice. Took my kin to lunch and even when they found out that I was paying, I got out of there under $200. (And they purposely"accidentally" ordered extra dinner entrees and beers.) Lot's of great, authentic dishes. I wanted to eat light and ordered Bok Choy Chicken and it was still a big portion.
