This is negative stars...now across the board. Reception was great, but a "JAMIE" rude woman answered my last call. Due to her attitude, I requested her name since she answered the receptionist phone. She told me that she was not a receptionist and if she baked a batch of cookies that would NOT make her a BAKER EITHER! Then put me on hold and never picked up again... Office management is pathetic, getting appointments and getting refills on medications is so difficult. You have to call them everyday multiple times and than will be able to get refill on your prescription. Totally not recommended.
I have been trying to get ahold of someone to schedule an appointment for my thyroid. It has to be tested regularly so I can take thyroid hormone replacement medication to KEEP ME ALIVE. However, I ran out of refills and I have been trying to contact them for TWO MONTHS leaving several voicemails and no one calls back. I have had to resort to asking my OBGYN to have my thyroid levels checked and prescribe me medication. This is so embarrassing!
I have been with Dr. Alahakoon for almost seven years, and I will say the last year is been awful. His staff is RUDE. Since he moves to the new building, the team has gotten worse. The NP was excellent, but she left; the younger doctor is not bad. Trying to call to get refills or even ask a few questions about medication is impossible, and if they answer, they give you attitude. So disappointing
