This is a family owned and operated restaurant serving up tasty food with pleasant service. I ordered takeout, but, upon entry, wished that I had opted to dine in. It's such a cute place. I had the rotisserie gyro which was very good. If you're new to Mediterranean cuisine, this is a safe choice. This restaurant is definitely designed more for takeout than dine-in. The atmosphere was quiet with little distraction. There is a nice outdoor dining area if the weather is nice. Parking is rough because it’s not actually connected to the restaurant. I was not charged for parking but I am not completely sure I was in a free lot. The food that we had here was ok. My wife and I moved here from Detroit. We had access to a lot of really good Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food there. The shawarma at Petra is probably one of the best I've ever had! This is my new go-to lunch spot for sure. The lunch portions are perfect and affordable.
First time eating at a Mediterranean restaurant. What a fantastic place. I love family owned businesses that put love in their food. I had lamb for the very first time and they were delicious so tender. My husband had the double gyro and he only ate half! If you go they have parking beside the building and are in a fantastic area to walk off your big meal and homemade dessert! They must be taken home!!
Really good hummus. Chicken shawarma, delicious. Baklava, flakey, perfect spice, and spot on sweetness. It was a take out order, so I'll have to come back to rate the atmosphere, but I would expect top marks!! Thank you!!
