Fran (I will call her that because I am sure I will mess it up) helped me beyond words today. I am actually in tears right now. I have been so overwhelmed after surgery, She listened to me and handled so many problems for me. I have been at my wits end thinking (well knowing) someone had access to my card. Fran thank you so much for your patience with me, and thank you for going above and beyond. The weight you took off my shoulders just now, I will be able to sleep tonight. Fran should get a raise. Just my opinion.
I've been a member with several credit unions in my life, sadly ALCU is the worst. First, the facilities are pretty sad. They're old and small. Strike one. Next, they don't keep loan officers on site; it all has to be done online or over the phone. That's strike two. After reading the reviews it seems like the negative ones all use the same word as a descriptor, "bank". Alabama Credit Union is not a bank, it is a credit union. There are fundamental differences. Google it. My family has been a member for over 10 years and have had good experiences. We bank with WF but keep our money in Alabama Credit Union for reasons. Modern banks are just fee machines for people that live check to check or travel.
I just moved to Alabama from Germany and a friend recommended Alabama credit union I visited the Daphne branch where I met Francesca and she turned out to be my one stop shopping for everything involved that I needed whether it be checking savings and she also hooked me up with a credit card and a car loan, it was easy and she was able to answer all my questions and soothe my concerns I would highly recommend banking with Alabama credit union ask for Francesca and if she’s not available, Bonnie can definitely help you.
I'm in the process of relocating for a job. I went to a Mobile County Branch and was told I couldn't have a bank in Mobile County because of my home of record being too far. I went to the Daphne Location an the Branch Manager Bonnie got me all set up. She was outstanding VERY professional and friendly! A very gorgeous person inside and out.
