Dr. Al-Gould is one of the best professionals I have experienced in medicine. He is well respected by his peers in Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Africa. He dedicates his full attention to each patient he sees, and ensures his professional expertise as an Ophthalmologist Surgeon remains current and cutting edge. I recommend Dr. Al-Gould highly.
If I could give it zero stars I would. Despite frequent requests with the doctor, the surgical consultants and anyone else I saw, the wrong lens was put in during my cataract surgery. I will now need to go to considerable expense for corrective lenses. Prior to surgery I had 2 emails and 5 phone messages that were not returned - all about the same issue. Wait times AFTER scheduled appointment are at least 1.5 hours. Round trip including actual appointment plus wait times after scheduled appointment is no less then 3 hours according to seasoned waiting room patrons. If you have a job, take the day off. If you drive and park, bring your credit card to top up. Doctor might be great, don't know because I'm still waiting....
I'm so glad I was given an advice to see Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghoul. From the moment you enter the office you are treated with respect. The staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful. My experience with post surgery, follow-up appointments with Dr. Labelle was outstanding. Shanell, the surgical coordinator always answered my emails in timely manner.
