Absolutely wonderful experience! Food was fresh and served in large portions. You could definitely taste the love that the dishes were made with. The server was very professional with a great sense of humor. The restaurant is family run and they are all so kind. LOVED it!
... You're going to be waiting forever. Seriously. There are two parties in the restaurant and we have been waiting for about an hour and a half now.... Still don't have check. Tempted to just walk out.
Best Family Run Restaurant in the Hartfors/Manchester Area – Of all the many restaurants in the Hartford/Manchester area, my favorite is Al Fresco's in East Hartford. Just off I-84 this restaurant offers the most original and tasteful recipes, and handsome portions. I particularily love a good hot soup as well, and there is no finer delicacies than the always three offered at Al Fresco's. Their "special" entrees' are definately worth your stop.
We get lunch here alot People from my work enjoy their lunch specials several times a week. I love their grilled chicken salad. The guys that run the place are so nice, and awesome cooks. I would highly recommend the take out part of this place.
Good portions for the money al Fresco in East Hartford is a mix of italian and seafood. The food is all excellent. The veal parmigiana is outstanding, the stuffed eggplant is very good and their fish is very good. The service is excellent and the meals give good value for your money.
Nice little place, not much on the outside but Great food. Good Lunch's I ate there as recently as monday of this week. 4 of us had lunch and it was very good. There lunch specials are really good,and very reasonably priced. They have a full bar and serve wine. They also serve Pizza . A nice veal parm, with pasta and a salad with bread was only $7.99 I have been there often an plan on going back.
Al Fresco I found this place based on reviews from yahoo and was very unsatisfied. I ordered a medium pizza and after waiting 44 minutes for it to arrive, (I got delivery) I was very disappointed. I'm not one to be at all picky about pizza but this was below my very low standards of even frozen pizza. I would not recommended this restaurant based on my experience.

Same here -- Never disappointed! – I love this place. They do not advertise, I just stumbled across it one evening and had the best meal! Huge portions, fresh, yummy! I've eaten there about a half-dozen times and have referred friends who were equally impressed. Try it!
