Dr. Patel is incredibly thorough, clinical, and listens to his patients. I am floored by the other reviews quite frankly as he cured me with two medications from conditions which no other previous physician had connected for 8 months prior. I don’t need a hand-holder, that’s what therapy is for folks. This is a doctor. He is there to heal your physical body ailments.

Dr. Patel is my grandmother's doctor. After a hospital stay she returned home with bed sores. Suburban Health has been trying to get Dr. Patel to write a prescription for a medical bed for two weeks, but he's been unresponsive to contact from both the in home nurse and the occupational therapist. That Optum would choose to employ a doctor that is negligent to the needs of their elderly patients speaks volumes about their commitment to patient care. Love my doctor. Very informative and delved deeply into my medical history.
Dr Patel is my husband's doctor, and he really dislikes him. He's not the type to complain about doctors, but he says this one has a bad attitude and questions/argues with everything he says. He will be switching doctors soon out of optum. It's gone downhill since Dr. park retired. They were supposed to refer him to a specialist and a scan, and a week later no call from specialist and no call about a scan. It's like he fell through the cracks.
