Great gym and has lots of equipment for upper body but not much for lower body. There are stationary bicycles and treadmills and stair climber and quad weight lift piece. Nothing else. Wish they had machines to work hips, thighs.

Gym is clean but small. Does get over crowded. The hours are really limited for people that work early. Desk staff is super hit and miss. The guy doesn’t really know what he’s talking about. Misinformation provided before we even signed up. Then different information was given at time of membership. Provided misinformation again by the guy months later. The business doesn’t honor what is literally in their contract. Do not pay in full. Seriously. It’s been a not so good experience, especially for the cost and limitations.

I love this gym. I joined after finishing physical therapy at Body in Balance Physical therapy...which is also awesome. I love that it’s a small gym, but has everything I need for my workouts. The staff are friendly, and it fits in well will the atmosphere of downtown Palmer.

AKtive Body is my favorite place I have ever worked out. The gym is small, and personable. Everybody remembers you, and they want you to succeed. If you need help with anything, all you have to do is ask. Recently, I required surgery, and they suspended my membership for a few months for me while I was in the hospital and recovering. It doesn’t get much better than that. Plus you can buy great walking or running shoes right upstairs.
