Technician wasn't able to complete an inspection of our sump pump because both our radon reduction system and sump pump pit cover were sealed to prevent radon gas from entering our home through the sump pit. Although he made sure that the sump pump wasn't frozen from the outside, he stated that he was not certified to remove the sealed cover to inspect the pit or the pump for any defects. Aksarben needs to have it's Technicians certified to complete maintenance/inspections on these types of systems.
